I just wanted to give some final ideas of decorating from the Holiday House Tour that I thought were pretty clever with just easy use of greens. The boots were at a very old farmhouse and I thought that was so clever I went home and copied it right away!
“It’s everyone’s vision of the perfect holiday setting: a tall tree twinkling with dozens of lights, a crackling fire in the fireplace, artfully arranged decorations boosting the festive mood”.(this is my house from last year!)

The Holiday House Tour last year was a lot of fun to be a part of except that it all had to be ready by December 3rd! We have an old house(1844) so we have a double parlor-this is what I did in those two rooms.
